Should I play WoW?

I came across an ad last night for one of those 10 day free trials of World of Warcraft.

The thing is, will I get too hooked on WoW and not do anything else with my time once I start playing?

If I did start playing, would only devoting an hour or so to the game a day be enough? I don't always have time to play video games.

First question, YES. Second question, NO.

You will get addicted, one hour a day is not enough.

Pfffff...addiction is because people are so weak for games, I myself managed to quit the game....

Yes. Even if you wanted to devote 30 minutes to the game thats fine. There is no time requirement involved. Play when you want, when you feel like it. It's just like any other video game.

Don't assume that your personal addictive experiences with WoW will be experienced by other WoW players. Some people do get addicted to it, others know how to prioritize. It's called self management. ;)

I suggest at least 3 hours a day to WoW. But even 3 hours a day won't get ya very far in a week...I play at least 5 hours a day. Monday through Sunday.
....
Addicted? Me? Naw....well...maybe a wee bit...

I would definitely start playing the game its a great game. I mean i got addicted but thats just because ive played for 2 years and I live in my moms basement. But it is always very intertaining with allot of nice people (some exceptions).

There is no such thing as an 'addiction' to a game, the only reason you would play it a lot is because you enjoy the game and want to play it more, plus it's money well spent.

As for time, you dont have to play it for long if you don't want, the game doesn't require long periods of time, other than the level 50+ dungeons which can be quite lengthy.

Rubbish Thundgot you told me you were playing it the other day while you were on msn!!

Seriously mate, its not exactly "addictive" you will want to play it a lot and get as far as you can, but you can play it anytime and its there so you dont exactly sit and play for 7 hours (well i can and have) but you dont feel the need to.

Untrue. There is addiction to just about anything.
