Is it worth it?

I just bought the game off of Ebay and I'm going to try it out for a month. Is the game worth it? I'll have to choose that myself. But any negatives about this game?

How about you look around for reviews or when you get it play it once you get it since you bought it anyway.

Re: Is it worth it?

It's pretty good, but gets a LOAD more fun in higher levels 40 + since PVP is better and cooler areas and dungeons.

Do a bit of research into the class you're gunna be since it will make your game experiance black or white. I'd personally recommend a mage or warlock. Both those classes are a load of fun to play, and if you know what you're doing, can destroy other players in Player Versus Player. Of course, they can only wear cloth armor so if you get into hand to hand, you're prolly toast.

Read the classes, pick if you want a more upfront player or one who sits back and deals out the damage.

Ebay? does it even work? :P

Re: Is it worth it?

You do realise that if you bought the CD's of eBay then the other person will have used the CD Key and you won't be able to make an account?

Or, if you bought the account you're running a high risk of getting banned since that's against the ToS.

But scratch those if it was a sealed box :p

(Sealed box, came from a Store, not a random person :P)

Thanks for the replies guys. I'll be sure to do some research. I already done some, and it looks pretty cool.

IT KICKED ASS! I was playing it for 12 hours straight, jumping off the flying boats into dangerous areas such as Rivers with crocs and land with 'raptors'. It was so friggen fun.

world of warcraft is an awsome game! but when you have played it since it first came out and have a lvl 70 with a flying mount and nothing else to do it slowly starts to bore you.... I have play WoW for awhile now and have become bored with it, When your lvl 70 and can make 200g a day with little effort there is no reason to play anymore.
Wanna buy my acount? lol :deal:

70 hunter, flying mount, 1200g "Lilbuddy"

I'm bored with it too. Been playing for 2 years and it's taken it's toll. No game lasts forever.

TBC is a pure grind fest for minimal profit.

Hmm yeah agree. It does get all the same at end game.

I'm trying to buy TBC so I can be a blood elf with my friend, but every time I try to buy it as a digital download, it says my credit card number isn't valid.

BEFORE anyone says anything:

I've checked the number
I need to call the billing support

I'm actually starting to feel the burn. I've played since day 1... and have been to almost every place (on the last part for the serpentshrine attunement quest) and everywhere else is farmed.. including gruul's lair. I can just say that once you hit the top level, everything is pretty much the same.. just fewer people participating. the only real difference is flying mounts.

Hey n0e. How are you?

What server do you play on? I'm thinking of starting another character.

I'm at the same point, my guild squeezed the life out of everyone just before christmas for a KT kill, it came just in time for BC to arrive and give everyone a huge break. People have leveled really quite slow, and we've lost a few 'server firsts' because of that. Quite a lot of people have left too, when we thought we'd have problems rotating people for 25 mans, the opposite is infact true, we're short on people sometimes.

What's made it worse for the hardcore raiders is the trash in the 25 mans. I don't know if you've encoutered it yet but the respawn rate is quite frankly beyond the realms of logic. And it's really starting to piss people off. People just don't want to do it anymore. Fair enough, Blizz have taken note of the complaints, will it be enough? Why didn't they just do it like this first time round?

The greater incentive part obviously means they're changing the status from equally interesting yet non-epic-dropping non-bosses to equally interesting yet sometimes-epic-dropping non-bosses.

Hey guys, I want to start on this game too, but I don't know If I'll be able to share the account with my brothers. We don't have the money to spend on 3 different games. Can we create different characters without being banned?

DarthJebus05 April 12th, 2007 07:03 AM

Re: Is it worth it?

Yeah, sure. You can create 10 per server and 50 maximum.

The Terms Of Use clearly states that an account can only be used by one adult, and one minor. They WILL ban you for account sharing, I have been caught before.

How would they know if you use the same account, same computer?

Re: Is it worth it?

Don't play it.
It's a drug.
If you do play it, NEVER join a raid guild.

Unless you're loaded with money, don't need a job or have to go to school.
If so, go crazy. If not, sell it.

lol, jk
It's a good game but time-consuming.
I eventually sold my account.

The only thing they could use if you are all on the same computer, is they have an anti-hack and exploit bot called Warden. It scans chat for certain lines of text and if it finds anything, gives it to blizz. So just don't talk about being on the same account, and you will be fine.

I guess getting the Netherdrake mount will provide a bit of fun, as well as the two new rep places and the associated content.

I already have almost all the quests done for the netherdrake mount. :naughty:

I hate the Silverpine quests. I've finally took the time to play some WoW. Just got bored of it after the first few days which is good so I wont get addicted.
