because the reputation of the mod pretty much stands and fall with the community, this comunity. when people here act as they do, the mod is put in some very bad light. why should any new players download WW when they see the established community act like spoiled boys with toys (no offense to the female players). this place scares people away; and not just potential WW players, older players begin to think too....

i know this 'can't we just be friend and get along thingy' is pretty much dead, but dammit, think of how you make it look and you make yourself look!

I agree 100% with Stop the Fighting -- Play the Game - what AzH said had more truth then most posts ive ever read in this forum

Our WW Section makes a impression on GF.com - people see it and either think oh my god why is this even on gf.com and sometimes they see it and think WOW i should try this mod it looks great -- like AzH said its a Godsend to GF.com and WW and it can be a Downfall to GF and WW - also think of the players that come to GF.com just to the WW section -- when those players pack up and leave - they are NOT just leaving the Forums They are Leaving GF.com and WW Mod

That is a Downfall for BOTH WW Mod and GF - which i rather see Rise to the top of their markets and not fall down the ladder Slowly

Please Just Swallow your Prides and Play the game like Men (and Women) when you guys feel like trying to provoke someone into a fight - just think to yourselves is it really worth all the time and trouble just to try and piss someone off

and again like it was said before - its not just this clan or that clan -- its BOTH Clans - Now EL i know most of your and have absolutely no issues with anyone in EL - and WWE i know a lot of you guys and most of you i have never had issues with either

but it is BOTH clans causing things - so just behave you know - dont go through all the trouble just to provoke and piss off someone - its not worth it - i mean look at hewster he is ready to just say Fu$% it and not even release 1.6 and there are so many new and decent WW players looking forward to WW 1.6 -- I for one dont wanna see them pissed off and leave cuz of 2 clans influencing Hew to not release 1.6

and @ Hewster -- Given the mod rights are yours and kevins - it is your decision and all i can do is plead that you not allow the bickering of 2 clans cause you to not release 1.6 -- 1.6 will be absoluetly brilliant and given the man hrs put into NOT ONLY by you and Kevin - but also by Beta Testers -- these testers are not gonna be happy with denying the release of 1.6 after they spent all the time testing it - atleast i am assuming they wouldnt be happy with it

so please do not let 2 clans that bicker cause you to not release it - WW MOD has Extremely GREAT potential - and i For one do not wanna see it Die out

and given i have knowledge that the game is planned to go Farther in the Future - i dont think halting the release of 1.6 is a step forward - but a step back

Nice post Queeg :). hmm but I still wondering why the use of some teasing names can be such a big problem that passde has to complain here in GF and afterwards the release 1.6 depends of that. As Rudi says people can do whatever they want as long they don't spoil the current game, so when somebody logon as rudi-cheater and he doesn't kick them don't you think that's a nice admin?. As I understand it Rudi is/was banned at Rockridge to the end but Rudi dosn't ban the admin that server even the admin that server banned him and also accuse him cheating. So it is good to play at FB and the admin is very nice. Let people use the names they want but stop people whining and taunting here in GF. As PA said wwe doesn't start the conflickt-threads here in GF. This thread was started by passde because of some stupid names. The names was caused by - yes again taunting posting from el squint. No matter dk is member of wwe or not then I know he has been and I know it is taunting when squint post what he does. Everybody says don't taunt on the ww servers but apperantly it is okay to do it here or what? So if you see some stupid name on a server just forget about it. It is just a game and some stupid names. But don't expect no pay back eventhough it is just for fun.

I like gaming where the talking is free and no restriction. Of course none of us like spammers and people doing racial etc statements. I'm sure such people will be excluded to be outside the room for a while.

No its not. That's why when threads like this start up we usually squash them right away. The forum rules demand a civil attitude in posts regarding the players and other forum members.

For whatever reason, this thread got left open. We try to allow people who are very upset a chance to recover themselves and express their issues. Sometimes that means the rules get bent a little. In this case, I think everyone needed a chance to vent. So, I don't expect this thread to remain for much longer. We'll probably kill it later in the day. Pretty much everyone has had a chance to have their say and get their points across. Leaving it here will only keep the issue burning. At least that's what I'm thinkin' right now.


(BTW. Two quotes that I'd attributed to bong, at the end, were actually skins. I've fixed them now. Sorry Bong.)

:) Iam glad to hear that that onliest things Iam afraid about in 1.6 are:
1. volley heashot gibs - means IMO less funny long long doctors vs doctors fights :(
2. the stronger pain animations - which are not good for my kind of aiming :(
3. the waeker gatling- which makes good attackers tactic in beach, town and BattleCreek superfluous whic is more atractive for noobs but not for regular players!

I wondered since a while why dragon was threaten us with "new kind of player identification/authorization" and stuff several times .
Dragon, as I to got to know you 1 year ago you were just a nice person who was intersted about scripting, technical stuff and sometimes politcal disputes (like me) but the actually threatening things and lawman stuff dont matches to IMO - you dont need this!
