- Click the Play button
- Type in sv_pure 0 in the console
- Type in /devmap ww_mangnumopus in the console
Well, this is for you pardner! - Go to your main RtCW folder (usually C:\Program Files\Return to Castle Wolfenstein in Windoze)
- Right-click on wolfmp.exe and select Copy from the popup menu
- Right-click on the desktop and select Paste Shortcut from the popup menu
- Right-click on the new shortcut and select Properties from the popup menu
- In the Target edit box, add on as many of the following parameters as you like (separated by spaces) after the text currently in the edit box (the italics in brackets are comments - don't type those!):
- +set fs_game wildwest (this is required!)
- +sv_pure 0 (set to unpure so you can load plain BSP files outside PK3's)
- +devmap ww_magnumopus (the name of your map)
- +g_gametype 7 (only required if it's a capture-the-flag game)
Some examples or complete contents of the Target edit box: A normal objective map:
"C:\Program Files\Return to Castle Wolfenstein\WolfMP.exe" +set fs_game wildwest +set sv_pure 0 +devmap ww_magnumopus A checkpoint (capture-the-flag) map:
"C:\Program Files\Return to Castle Wolfenstein\WolfMP.exe" +set fs_game wildwest +set sv_pure 0 +g_gametype 7 +devmap ww_magnumopus
Once you have a working shortcut, simply copy THAT and change any parameters you like to save going to the wolf folder again. Don't forget you can name your shortcuts anything you like... |
