Is it going to be something you can just access while in game, kinda like scenario editor on Age of Mythology or is it going to be like DoW DC's map editor? Cause I think the first one is more user friendly.

It's almost definitely going to be an outside program, similar like warcraft's, coh's or dow's.
But if there's one singular feature I hope that will remain is - IMPORTING HEIGHT MAPS.
That's probably one of the most important feature the dow one had.

I wish they'd do something like a in game editor, would incourage tons of maps.

My thoughts exactly, I've tried making maps with the outside program and I just don't understand some of it. It's probably an issue with me but I would like an in game program so if I get frustrated I can play a few skirmishes and come back.
