space marine(s)

just wanted to remind anyone that the first 'epic' 'edition' was called

'space marine', & & the cover of the box (of which) shows the dark

angels fighting, yet they are wearing all - black back then,

whereas now, they were dark green or 'dark angel green'

as mentioned in the paint sets sold by citadel or other,

yet, just wanted to join the space marines before

so many things turned against us, including u s

against each other not the space marine(s)

allright man, this is the EXACT same thread as the other one. We dont need 2 threads on the same thing. You also had 3 threads all on another subject. dont make so many!

You need to learn thread posting Etiquette

First off, Try not to post more than one of the same thread

Second off, rather than post four different threads at once, put them all into one thread That does all of them.

Third off, Typing is a skill. don't move to a different line halfway through a sentence, it looks wierd, most Forums will put your writing on the next line automatically and it looks a lot better.
also, some work on your posts to make them Understandable, would help no end. ask someone else to look at it first, see if they can understand it all clearly, until you learn to type Legibly.

though your commentary 'hurts' somewhat, i've just reviewed the dawn of

war two trailer, which gives me an idea now of some kind of way to more

nicely respond to such attacks. basically, a movie about the 'imperium'

would be great, and i've seen that the space marines are a hard lot to

deal with ~ for sure. yet, i've mentioned soley the space marines out

of the others just to make it clear that they are rather i m p o r t a n t

Fourth off, don't be a prick and tell someone how to type and backseat moderate. If the guy wants to type that way, let him. Don't order him to do this or that, like I'm doing right now. Suggest it. People like it when you're nice to them.

Sorry to be so blunt, but what exactly do you plan to discuss? First you said something about dark angels being black instead of green, and the first edition of warhammer being called space marine (wasn't it rogue trader though? Or was that the second edition?).
Then about marines turning against each other, I presume the "us" refers to them.

And lastly a cry for a warhammer movie.

Could kinda say exactly what it is, that you want. I'm sorry but I don't really understand?

As for space marine importance, I'd call it the master chief effect. Different character, same reason for his love.
Gamer's, generally the younger ones with a vivid fantasy tend to set themselves into these fantasies, and well people just love being superhuman. Which the SM are to some extent or other.

Re: space marine(s)

back in 1988, there came adeptus titanicus ~ titans fighting in the cities

then in 1989, space marine (epic) ~ showing dark angel space marines

rogue trader ~ by rick preistley and jervis johnson came out l a t e r

you could do research and make a long list of things that disappeared

the fact is that dawn of war came out way after so many things etc.

what i'll say ~ that their movie may initiate their g r e a t n e s s

and that to not include the space marines would be their f o l l y

I think Feurcloe spoke about the first edition of "Epic".
"Epic" is a quite old TT game by GW, showing miniatures on a smaller scale than WH40K. You could even play Titans (and I LOVE the Warlord Class)..

It was good, and it is good even now: I have 3000 pt of Armoured Steel Legion and take up Armageddon's defense as soon as time permits.
Worth a try.

Re: space marine(s)

praise you 'in hoc signo' for injecting positively on the imperium's behalf thanx.

and you are r i g h t ~ the following were the 'epic' editions (as you know),

space marine ~ first edition (dark angels fighting on box - cover)

space marine ~ second edition (dark angels also ... .. .. )

epic forty thousand ~ third edition of imperial epic

epic armageddon ~ latest edition of imperial epic

this, may be the right scale also to make their movie with

which, all i've been trying to say is not leave out marines

yet that clearly the guard and sisterhood should appear
