Yes they have billions of soldiers, possibly trillions. Orks and Nids number more then every human in the Imperium. I mean, hell is all Orks banded together under one flag. Every race in the galaxy outside nids are screwed beyond comprhension.
And nids, if you look around at the fluff some more. If a real Nid fleet, as one described in Xenology arrived. The Imperium would have to up it's military force by 500% just to stand a chance o hold them off for awhile.
And agian, Orks are more diverse. As in our galaxy they are the most numerous by far. That alone has the ability to make them more diverse. i mean the only thing most Orks have in common is they want to fight. Out of the millions/billions of tribes out there, their are going to be alot of different one.
Don't remind me of Firewarrior. Anyways yay I subscribe to PC gamer so lucky for me I guess. Also if this is true then I'm torn in 3 different directions. I'm going to have to choose between DOW2, SC2, or RA3 to occupy my game time. Decisions.
If they do a Dawn of War two, then they seriously need to think about what they are doing before they get to work on it. In all fairness, we need ONE game, with everything in it, and NO expansions.
SoulStorm only leaves two sides: The Daemon Hunters and Tyranids. If they release DoW2 without them, then they might as well not release the game, as, alike DoW, they are simply going to go on dragging out the entire thing once again, and this will not only annoy fans, but bore them to death.
I can only hope that they take into account how many people are unsatisfied with Soul Storm too.
DoW2, we need the lot. Bikes, Devistator Squads, the four Chaos Gods (somehow), all those missing Eldar squads, one hell of a campaign, and an updated online setup.
If they aren't going to do the lot, then they may as well cancel the entire idea right here, right now.
PS: As a personal preference, I would stick to ground combat. We don't need space combat. If they're going to even think about that, then they should get on with a space-based game instead.

I'm afraid I'll have to go with RA3. It's a sad call, and I will get all three, but I'll have to stick to my guns with RA3 online, less I be eatten alive by suicidal black eagles and prism raids

Prism raids won't exists because the soviet leadership went back in time and killed Einestin therefore prism tech don't exists no more. Black eagles might not exists because the timeline of the previous are irrelevant to RA3 because again, Einestine is killed. Anyways back on topic, Tycoon if DOW2 is announced they would probably only give us 4 races and add all the other races via expansion packs.
I agree that there should be 4 races and not 9, puts a sense of classic tradition into the game, and makes bugs/imbalances easier to correct.
I'd also agree with the no air and space policy, but do feel there should be more ground troop units, possibly more tanks?
Other than that campaign should be linear and if they take out mah Orky boyz im gunna lose it, sorry ig but sm can fight for the emperor alone, (unless they allow 5 races then your in! yay!).
I wouldn't mind a awesome storyline linear all the way up till the last mission. Something happens, now all that's left is to reclaim, destroy, taint, whatever to the planet and then should become a meta campaign. That would be coool.

More races isn't always better, it sometimes just makes the game unbalanced. IG can't possibly stand up to the Space marines, half of them will just surrender without a commissar.
