The Necrons make my blood boil.
 

Am I the only one who think Necrons are more annoying than anything else? Most of the time they mass wraiths and harass your men. And don't get me fucking started on the Necron Lord . . . well . . you did, and now you have to listen.

Whatever race I'm playing, the Necron Lord is a cause of major frustration throughout the game, at least until I surround him with Possessed so he'll die as soon as he gets up. First thing he does, leads a small shock force into your base, kill his men, and he just runs around your base raising Hell. Get the fuck OUTTA my base! Killing workers, pissing off soldiers, forcing my Ranged Units to go into melee . . and the AI has only this playstyle. Let's not forgot another major annoyance, everyone's favorite combination of abilities: Sunbeam, Reality Shift, Scarab Swarm, and Mass Resurrection. He'll teleport in, use sunbeam, attack your workers, while your struggling to summon up a basic militia to put him down for the count. The count being 3 and a half minutes, after he's killed a worker and casts sunbeam, he teleports next to my stronghold, fruitlessly trying to kill it, teleports again, casts sunbeam some more, and when he's about to die, he goes ethereal and runs away. Now you notice the small army of Wraiths and Pariahs assaulting your listening posts.

Two minutes later; he's back! Doing the same thing! Is that the Necron's specialty? Annoyance, harassment, and teleportation into your base?

well if you fed up with dc why not start playing the original again. Trust me you will enjoy yourself

rememba those guys r SLOOOW AS make sure u use this to ur advantage by bombarding them with artillery to slow em down even more! then let loose with more explosive vehicles 2 hammer em 2 back to the graveyard were they belong!

yea i hate the necs to. but sometimes the AI is so stupid he goes for my stronghold and while my main army is destroyin there army and 1 SM squad is left with workers and all i do is repair my stronghold.

I find if you are playing chaos use cultisit armed with grenade launchers and take them off mele combat and switch them to ranged combat can be effective. the knock down effect from the grenade launchers can cause havoc with the necron lord. also a couple of turrets will distract him as welll

I hate necrons too. I usually face random comps on skirmish mode, and it is nearly always either orks or necrons. Orks i dont mind, but necrons are a nightmare. Even when i play with them, i cant handle their tech-tree because it is so bloody far-fetched and different from all the other races. And they are unbalanced in my opinion.

Wraiths and pariahs should have limits and the necron lord should NOT be able to use stealth and revive all of his dead comrades around him. I was playing a long, bloody battle with some crons, and there was masses of dead warriors lying around a crit. location. Then the lord comes in with a whole new wave of warriors, and resurrects all of the dead ones. Then they all come and pwn me because they have 4 times as many men as me.

So yes, I hate necrons. :)

The only thing that really is anoying for me when I am playing against Necrons is when suckers send a couple of Wraiths in my base,followed by 3 to 4 squads of Necron Warriors and Flayed Ones...my men start shotting at Wraiths who ALWAYS when shot upon go ethereal and they wonder around,my units ares till shooting at Wraiths even they are immortal at that time,meanwhile I got Pariahs sending my units into the space...and I lose.:(

Fighting the necrons is just annoying and playing with them is MUCH to easy!!
I was playing with necrons on doom-chamber agains orcs and won by sending 1 MONOLITH AND 4 DESTROYERS into their base!!!!!(i play on hard)
