I guess you have to rely on their ability to take the bullets seeing as they aren't really known for large armies, seeing as basic troops are 3 squad cap which, allowing other units i.e. pariahs, immortals, flayed ones, wraiths, you can't get a large army but with a normal sized force you can stand for quite a while.

Haha, I agree that this guy can be annoying (the Necron Lord that is). I do not like the idea that he comes back at the point of his 'death'. He should be made to come out of the Monolith again, but I can't see that happening to be honest.

Yeah it's kinda inconsistent for two types of Necrons to come back where they died (Lord and Tomb Spyders) while none of the rest do.

No, commander types are not immune to knockback

What defines your resistance to it, is weight.
And laughably, the unit with the most weight are fire dragons, thus they can stop a squigoth if it charges them.

And you can't build a building directly on him. The minefield is an exception.
