that's really more of an AI thing, not necessarily related to race abilities... |
I guess you have to rely on their ability to take the bullets seeing as they aren't really known for large armies, seeing as basic troops are 3 squad cap which, allowing other units i.e. pariahs, immortals, flayed ones, wraiths, you can't get a large army but with a normal sized force you can stand for quite a while. |
Haha, I agree that this guy can be annoying (the Necron Lord that is). I do not like the idea that he comes back at the point of his 'death'. He should be made to come out of the Monolith again, but I can't see that happening to be honest. |
Yeah it's kinda inconsistent for two types of Necrons to come back where they died (Lord and Tomb Spyders) while none of the rest do. |
yeah, but they are spawned from the ground by your base. And not spawned from the monolith. |
Re: The Necrons make my blood boil. that is ture |
Re: The Necrons make my blood boil. Just put a darned minefield on his head. That way, there's almost no way he get's to run away, or revive anything. |
Re: The Necrons make my blood boil. Why not build a building on top of him instead? But on second thought maybe a minefield is better. But aren't the commander types immune to knockback? |
Re: The Necrons make my blood boil. all units have knockback abiliies i think. |
Re: The Necrons make my blood boil. No, commander types are not immune to knockback What defines your resistance to it, is weight. And laughably, the unit with the most weight are fire dragons, thus they can stop a squigoth if it charges them. And you can't build a building directly on him. The minefield is an exception. |
