Ok seen those posts the reason i put it there is cos that is the exact same autoexec file as i put in my root folder and if i dont have dev as a parameter it will only turn the ui off and not toggel back on meaning i have to exit using alt+tab and start agine. i dont see how it is different to mine but hell if thats a better way and (i dont play online so i whould not Know) if it works online then ignore me. its all good.

Jeez.... i wish i had good graphics like you Adonis_Prime.... what graphics card do you have or com? I have an allright com and graphics card but it is still as blur as hell i hate it. I like a game with good graphics, makes a game better for me....

It's an old picture.And it already got POTD at some point i believe.Btw Inquestion,it doesn't take a good graphics card to run that game well I have a shitty 64MB graphics card..........i really should upgrade that.........but anyways,i can run pretty much everything on high settings without much lag.

I'm using an ATI Raedeon X600. It's ok, but I'd like something better. Right now, I don't have the cash to buy a better graphics card. This one is serving its purpose for now.

Inquestion, I use a radeon 9600 256mb card and 512 ram 3000+ atholon. however, however no matter how much firepower people have in their comps with out "house cleaning" it will allways run way under-par. a very simple and often overlooked thing to do is defrag. ALOT. I can not stress enuff how much a difference that alone makes. also don't leave your computer on all the time. turn it off on a regular basis. thats is off (not reset). it needs to be off (as in no power running threw it) for about 30 seconds for the charge in the RAM to clear out. this is also a good thing to do if you are getting odd errors (bad command stuck in RAM). also having extra room on your hard drive helps. turn off virus scanners and the like while playing (or else its sitting in the back ground running a check on every thing which is very resource intensive). if you happen to have a secound hard drive (a different hard disk not partition) you could move the page file to it to cut down on the hammering on your main one and speed it up as well.

If seen people spend enormus amounts of money on ridiculously overpowered equipment for it to "magicaly" stop working a few months down the road. while some maitenece and "tweaking" can outpreform all thoes powerhungry/overclocking/bottomlesswallet people out there.

too many people try and throw nukes at flys but tend not to aim. its better to hit it with a well placed fly swatter. both its both cheaper and I (personally) get a huge ego boost when I hear that I can run things on settings that the people who spent huge cash either can't or can (either way im happy).
