tower defense prob ok, i tried creating a maul based on towers i thought out weird thing is.... when i test them and tried building my test tower, it builds instantly to 10% of its hitpoints and it stops thereafter.... and.... my element tower( the element tower u choose with the element chooser) builds fine.. anybody can help???:bawl: :bawl: :bawl: :bawl: :bawl: :bawl: |
Re: tower defense prob maybe it has to do with the kind of race ur using. if u used a wisp to build a human tower it may be able to start the tower but not continue construction. i think giving it the repair option in the unit editor could fix it if thats the case. you clould make a trigger like this. event: a building begins construction ( or somthin along that) action: set construction % to 100. im sure there is some way u could do it :) |

Re: tower defense prob Castle type surface? if by that you mean some kind of stone or marble or tiles, then thats your problem right there. unless you edit a building in the world editor so that it can be built on those surfaces, the only surfaces you can build it on are any grass or any dirt. maybe some others i cant think of right now.:uhoh: :uhm: :lookaround: |

I don't know it... I should say: start allover again with these 2 units: create new custom unit, built over the peasant ... Don't change too much abilities then create a new unit, the tower... make sure that the peasant hasthe repairability, and can build the tower... normally it should perfectly work... |
