Default WC3? maybe.

I'm thinking of getting this game. My friend has it and sais its good but ineffably hard, then again he is a crazy little person.
Can anyone give me some pros and cons or anything like that?

no it's basically challanging at times but if you're experienced in strategy then this should be pretty entertaining and not at all frustrating.

On the other hand I did find some parts ineffably unfair but it's what keeps it fresh....and the second time through is even easier, yet somewhat boring.

Yeah basically its a heavy strategy game. It gets hard at times but once you establish your strategy everything else falls into place. But then again don't be limited by that. I hardly ever player traditional games. On Battle.net many great map creators have produced mini-games with intresting concepts that will keep you hooked for ages.

Definitly a game worth getting

A first post for me here.

This game is more along the lines of an RPG/RTS Hybrid, incoorporating different aspects from multiple genres to create a series based around a magical era in a world called Azeroth.

The game is unique in the fact that your heroes are your 'charatcer' and that you can customize him or her to your will. Each has a bilities that others don't, and some have e4ffects that fit well with certain units. It is more indepth that many games of its type.

There is marines in it but they are an "Easter Egg". You can find them in most custom made maps on Battle.net (Ripe for the download on Warcraft3Files.com)

Ah, I dunno. Some games have amazing replay value, but all in all this little piece of fun doesn't really offer that much in the long run. it's basically mine, mine mine.

I think theres good replay value, I played single player twice(both normal and xpac) plus there are 1000's of custom games to play and heaps are really fun.
