Mouse lag

Hey, I know this is kinda old, but I've been away for a while.... http://boards.ioerror.com/smile.gif

Anyways, I have the good old "Mouse Lag' problem in UT, where the mouse movements are about 0.75 seconds behind you actually moving the damn thing. I have a Geforce2 and an ASUS A7V133A motherboard, latest drivers, blah blah.

I had heard there was a fix out there for it somewhere. I tried checking out www.geforcefaq.com, but it just keeps redirecting me to tweak3d's main page.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

This happened on my moms computer. On hers it was actually a frame count lag. About 15 frames of lag. So 30fps=1/2 second of lag. Sadly the computer, although very fast for B&W and other apps, was sucking the big bong for UT. I simply reinstalled, and hope that will fix the problem (I havn't reinstalled UT on it yet)

It's a Direct3D problem... it's not really a mouse driver problem... I don't remember how I got rid of it... think I turned off something...

wait... Check UT...

OK, first of all turn Direct input off... if that doesn't fix it, turn off Mouse smoothing off... if that don't work, run it in OpenGL... it might be unstable, but that will fix it http://boards.ioerror.com/smile.gif

I remember hearing something about turning "Mouse Exception" off or something along those lines? (perhaps it's a console command). That ring a bell to anyone?
