Easily, as long as you only have 1 hard drive.

There are 4 ide channels.
Regular (non-SCSI, or external) cd-rom's, and hard drives use 1 of them.
So you could have any combination, as long as you don't have more than 4.

Unless of coarse if you have RAID. Then you can have 8...I think.

It's possible... but I suggest running just a DVD ROM and a CDRW. No reason to have all three. The DVD ROM is fast enough to use as your primary CD ROM drive.

DVD drive isnt faster than a 50x though, most dvd's operate with a 24x

a burner(cdrw) and a DVD are all you need.. normal cd-roms are becoming outdated with newer technology. BTW tech freaks did you hear any current news about UDTV or that newer DVD format? just curious, I haven't heard about them for a while now.

If you must have all three, go for SCSI(if possible) you could fit all three on one scsi channel.

Why do you need anything faster than 24x anyway? Programs may install a few seconds faster, big deal.

BTW - Dolby... RAID has nothing to do with the number of drives your PC can support. RAID takes an array of physical disks and creates one logical drive.

yeah, but MAKE SURE you dont have the 50x on the same cable as the CDRW, or it'll really degfrade performance when copying a CD from the 50x to the CDRW
