Why I'm not here

Well, my dad has basically deserted our family. he's moved into the room that holds our computer and put a bed in there and everything. He comes out about 2 times a day to eat and go to work. Even if i did get in there when he wasnt home, he put a bios password on the computer so i can't get on it. I dont know why he is doing this, but i believe he has mental problems or something. I am in the process of ordering a dell, so hopefully i can get it soon. sorry about this guys, and i'll keep you up to date on whats going on. Neo- you'll have to run the clan w/out me for a while. sorry guys.

Hick that sucks dude! I know I would be Mental if I didn't have my PC. Although on a good note at least your father has chosen the best room in the house to live in, the PC room

well, mom just informed me that i get nothing over 1000 bucks........ time to think about homebuilt or maybe getting a slower system.... that one up there was a dell. maybe gateway has something. i'd of course get the dreaded integrated graphics, but upgrading's not hard....

hey, Hick, good luck with the home situation, and be al ittle patient wit hthe old man. i'm sure in HIS mind he feels justified in what he's doing; just try to be supportive and get him some help, if he'll agree to it. even tho there's prolly a way to wipe the bios, i wouldn't mess with it, if he's not over the edge now, that would prolly do it.
anyway, be careful of pricewatch, there were complaints about some serious scamming going on there by disreputable dealers a year or so ago...
and good luck, keep a low profile, and try not to get caught in a situation which might bring on a confrontation...

thanks guys. shop.explorermicro.com has some incredible deals. look slike i'll be buying from there. not to mention EVERYTHING you get is TOTALLY customizablt. you can choose to omit ANY component in the system, or add just about anything on the market. i'm getting a killer system for about 1015 bucks......
