how can I auto skip intro loading UT? n/t |
go into your unreal tournament/systems folder. then find and open your unrealtournament.ini file. It looks like a little notepad with a yellow gear thingie on it. it might look like this til you click on it: unrealtourn... then in the first few lines, find the one that says: LocalMap=CityIntro.unr change it to say: LocalMap=UT-Logo-Map.unr save it, and your done. Make sure you type it exactly how it looks above because the .ini file is case sensitive. Now your UT will start on the "press esc to continue" screen. Let this forum know if your havin any trouble. http://boards.ioerror.com/smile.gif ------------------ "Khorne cares not from whence the blood flows... ...nor do I" |
Edit the UnrealTournament/System/UnrealTournament.ini file. Change the line: LocalMap=CityIntro.unr to: LocalMap=Entry.unr |
where exactly does the entry.unr bring you to? the logo screen is just another place to have to hit esc, and it takes just as long to load as the city-intro one, so what's the point? i want to be able to start UT and it goes right to the main menu. is this possible? thanks for any imput. ------------------ Ryan Give me a sniper rifle, and I'll take your head off your hands! Give me a couple of enforcers, and i'll show you what it feels like to be a hunk of swiss cheese! Give me a copy of Q3 Arena, and i'll just plain kill ya! |
Entry takes you to the same logo screen. It's just easier to remember. Still need to hit the ESC key. I don't think there is a way to get to the menu right away. |
