V5 5500 - load whole game into video RAM???

is the 5500 an AGP card, and if so, is it 2X or 4X??

a sales rep told me a while ago that instructions came with the card for loading an entire game into the card's RAM, and running the game from there, with incresed speed.
anybody know what that's all about??

some user comments in CNET.COM hardware comparisons also mentioned something about reduced fps??

Sounds like a bit of techno babble from a sales rep to me...

Mind you though, you are now able to play Oni on a WAP phone so maybe anything is possible...

Keep in mind 3dfx no longer exists, so there will be no customer help or new drivers.

Nvidia said they will release updates and new "better" drivers into 2002... but I think that'll last until their first update
