Just bought this same revolver a couple of weeks ago but with a stainless steel 2X6 power scope. Awesome gun! Kicks like a mule though. Just thought I share that with ya'all, I'm pretty happy with it.....any other gun nuts out there??? Or am I the only "redneck" on this forum..........
Ugh.. Revolvers are stupid.. They remind me of cowboys, and I hate cowboy related stuff.

Yeah, nice piece. I'm a paper cutter myself. Used to own a S&W 44 Model 29 83/8" barrel. Sweet wheel gun. Because the boreline is lower it's kick is more backward than upward which made it more comfortable to shoot.
Put 3500 rounds thru the gun over time and it was nowhere near shotout.
The most accurate handgun I had was the Thompson Centerfire Contender chambered for the .222 cal rifle cartridge. Though it's a one shot the small bore and muzzle velocity would hold a group of 5 covered with a quarter at 50 yds. I outshot many 30-30s with that thing.
hehe....Cool, another gun nut. This is the first hand gun I have shot/owned that has a scope. Sure is different than shooting without one.....You see EVERY shake and wiggle you got! AS for how it kicks, it's not so bad if I'm standing up shooting, but if I'm shooting from a bench or off a rest, I can't shoot more than 25 or 30 rounds before it starts to hurt. It's not as bad with the scope on it, scope makes it a little heavier. Never fired a Thompson, I've always wanted one in .308 though.
There for a while I was really into the wheel guns. Loaded my own shells. I thought that way I would save half the money on shooting. HEHE didn't work out that way, I just shot twice as much.
