Donation Box -- aka I just got a piece of crap, what are some suggestions for use?

I just got an OLD IBM ps/1 today (yes, 33 MHZ, 486SX running win 3.1, 284 mb hdd, a 3.5" and 5.45 or whatever disk drive, cd rom, and 4 mb of ram). I was thinking of installing a *nix distro on it (server installation) and hooking my cable modem up to it, as well as my fax modem. So it'd serve as my network router as well as my fax machine (firewall as well). Think that's the best suggestion or what?

I used to run RedHat linux on a PS/1 50mhz with 16mb and that ran soooooo slow...it was OK, but you might want to consider getting at least 16 mb of RAM for it...nowadays that would cost you like $15...heh. And from what I remember, don't get your hopes up about running something like X on it.
