I was bored and taught myself. I think I've got the basics down.

Yep. Correct. I don't have a converter handy so I checked them long hand.

That's because you're not 1337, Vluky.
Fortunately, there's not much use for binary any more. Hex is handy sometimes, tho.. it's a P.I.T.A. though...
