Newbie alert : Which patch now ?!?

I have just bought UT this weekend after playing both the quake and UT demos, and I have what might be a typical newbie question. Does the new 4.28 patch contain all the features of the preceeding patches, i.e. I only have to download one patch. I ask because in the release notes 4.20 is stated as having all previous fixes, but this statement is missing from versions 4.25 and 4.28.
