anybody know where i can find some mechwarrior3 demo servers????
how old is this game, anyway? for the demo, i have to specify an actual TCP/IP address of a host comuter!!!!

don't know about demo servers, but that bad boy is at least a year or so...

yeah, i just checked into the retail version - seems the game requires D3D acceleration. i and my card don't do D3D, so scroom!
maybe the fact that they eliminated the Glide guys (or am i the only one?) is one reason the game is now retailing for a monster $20...

Don't buy the game. You'll be helping Hasbro Int. They don't give a shit about their customers. Just check out the Delphi forum, at www.delphi.com/mechwarrior3 and ask people about Hasbro Int. They came out with an expantion that wasn't even campatable with the original version. You couldn't use the original maps, which had horrible spawn points. Just ask the people at the forum I gave you.
