Yeah... right... from what I can tell, the aimbots can do all their work client side and the server is none the wiser... so it matters not which you play, UT or Q3, they're botch able to be 'hacked'...

Well Ozy I have my suspicions. But no real evidence of people using aimbots.

There's a couple of T-1 crew that I have played when I have a sub 80 ping, and they have +200 ping and they never miss me. Not to mention they one shot me from way way out consistantly! Hmmmm zoom/aimbot combo?

So I just hope DarkByte writes that script so servers can be cheater free. Cheaters are the lowest form of life.

OK guys lets not do the 5000 post aimbot thing again. But just so you It was a guy named SIN that made the aimbot. Second the aimbot's are long gone after the 4.28 patch corrected the problem.So unless you play on server's running a patch lower than 4.28 you should have no fear of Aimbots. Secondly after the aimbot BS, everyone that was a newbie was calling everyone that was better a Aimbot or a Cheater.All I'm sayin is if you think you played an aimbot, look up stats and remember his name. Don't call someone a cheater before you know for shure. I'n the screens on my page, I was Called an aimbot,cheater, o ya and on guy told me to turn off godmode.Frankly thats kinda silly.I don't cheat,I'm not an aimbot ect...I was just better than them that day.screens are here > http://www.geocities.com/k_xorron/index.html

Uhhhh dude... You don't think anyone else can write an aimbot???? LOL! Sorry man but you're way off base here. Darkbyte wrote one and demo'd it for a few of us. He stated it wasn't that hard to make after he debugged everything. If you write new code would a old patch like 4.28 catch it? NO.

So if people with enough knowledge can write the code for an aimbot what would make them stop just because a patch was released. They would just rewrite the code again. Right?

Man we've all been accused of aimbots or the zoom tweek at one time or another. I just take it as a compliment. I would never ever cheat. I checked out the instagib zoom tweek and it works and give players an unfair advatage on large maps like lava. But now there are zoom protectors on some servers. Thank god!

Ya man, I see what your sayin.I kinda wrote it wrong.What I ment was that Epic does (up untill recently) a pretty good job with updated patches to make shure peps can't cheat. But yes you are right, there will always be some person that will try there very best to gain some sort of unfair advantage by cheating games.I simpley ment that the original "aimbot" can't be used after the 4.28 patch was released.
