OK...EVERYONE- System specs.

Just to spark up some intelligent coversation around here, What are everyone's system specs, what resolution/texture qality/32bit/16bit/ect ect, what kinda frame rates do you get, what kinda connections do you have, what pings do you get, be specific and give details. http://boards.ioerror.com/biggrin.gif http://boards.ioerror.com/biggrin.gif

My system-

P3450@558 on ASUS P3B-F mb
TNT2 Non-ultra..To be replaced with my new Ge-Force 2 tommorrow.
17" Monitor
256mb RAM
ZOOM 56K PCI modem from 200-275 ping depending on the server
Sound Blaster Live! X-Gamer
13.2 gig Maxtor 5400 RPM IDE HD
Intellemouse Explorer
Microsoft Internet Pro keyboard
Windows 98SE
I run UT at 1024X768, 16 bit, all textures set to max, sound quality high, dynamic lighting and decals off.
I get 50+ FPS offline and right around 40 or so online.

Of course alot of this is gonna change when I install the new vid card. http://boards.ioerror.com/biggrin.gif And this is my last post with this f*@king Web-TV!! YESSS!!! Hehehe http://boards.ioerror.com/smile.gif http://boards.ioerror.com/smile.gif
Anyway...Gotta go...Need to get up in 2.5 hours and go to the airort....Thats gonna suck. Oh well..

Yup...
thats all I have used for first-person games since Q2.
Its a good stick but it does have its faults...namely, if you are used to using mouse/keyboard its reversed(your "mouse-look" is on the left now)and the Track-ball is not as accurate as a mouse(not enough to really make a diff)...also dont beat the stick to death or it WILL break.....other than that its nice to have a button for each wep...no searching or scrolling...just hit the button for the right wep everytime...soem of the moves you can do with it a pretty damn awesome...so you may want to check it out...or wait for the PantherPro that will address the faults of the XL.

Wow! How much did that one set you back? Infact where did you find a PIII 1000 at?

Well anyway I forgot to mention my Microshaft IntelliEye mouse, 17" monitor, and HardDrives. One is a 13.7 WD 7200 RPM drive, and in the acer is a Seagate 4.3gig drive.

Now I just want to know why Lister thinks that 128mb pc-133 ram "Sucks", and his 32MB TNT2 simply "does the job". 128Mb ram is quite enough. Not that having more isn't fun, but saying that 128 isn't much is simply arrogant. Also I find my TNT2 to be more than adequate. They were the best cards on the market before the GeForce came out.

In reply to Dolby..

Cos when you've got a 800Mhz processor that is being held back my half the ram it should have and a graphics card that can't display things fast enough thats the reason why it only does the job .. http://boards.ioerror.com/smile.gif (Yes I know this sounds a little snobbish but I was merely voicing an opinion.)
