Pre-Caching Lockup Still Happens
 

Is there something I'm supposed to do that fixes this? Installing 413 didn't do it. I still get lockups at PreCaching and occasional lockups in the Internet Game Browser...

Any ideas?

I'm running DX7a with an ASUS GeForce card...

Did you try changing video mode to see if it would run

i personally have tried all drivers, patches from 405b and upwards for UT, and 3.52 upwards ( even the new beta drviers 5.13 ) for my creative geforce, all video modes even a 512x384 resolution, even tried bringing down my agp aperture which was mentioned at some site, yet nothing.... http://boards.ioerror.com/frown.gif
total balls.. makes me wonder why i ever decided to get a geforce in the first place. yeah, sure the graphics and forame rate are amazing, but if the damn game doesn't work after 10 seconds, then fuck it..

when changing your drivers for your video card are you removing the old ones??
the ini files and such out of windows system folder? this could be part of your problem...
