graphic problems on a lan game

I have a pc and a mac hooked up on a LAN. The problem is with the PC, I have residual graphics hanging about. When I fire the guns it will leave the muzzle flash and the tracer streaks all over the place. If you walk near the suspended flashes you can hear the sound of the weapon fire, even if no one is near. I have both machines updated to 405b, and even tried 413 on the pc. Any help would be appreciated.

does the game run fine not connected to the LAN ?

The game runs fine when running solo. Only when linked does it show these problems.

how about some additional config info on hte pc box ?
