Why put bots on a server?

I join a server with what I think to be like 2 or 3 players only to be nailed by cruk or archon.

Why do people do this? If I wanted to play bots I've fire up my own game shesh!

Because they are morons. I don't know why they do that, but I find it annoying too. Maybe 'cause they don't have enough players?

Most server operators are not aware that UT defaults to 4 or 5 bots, that's why we are seeing bots on a lot of the Ut servers. Epic needs to fix this so the default is zero bots, then if the server wants bots they could put them in.

Anybody else fed up with auto taunt? i got mine off and only taunt when and what I wanna say.

Yeah, auto-taunt blows....it annoys me most of the time. But it separates those who have it on (newbies and llamas) to those who have it off (th3 l33t). So feel free to flame and make fun of those who have auto-taunt on....it's your right as an American!
