How to cap UT framerate for netplay? Anyone know a console command? Sure would appreciate it. Thanks. =) |
I'm not sure what the command is but you can find all UT commands at http://unreal.epicgames.com/ Hope that helps. UB |
Thanks, but I'd looked there... didn't see anything, unless its description is criptic beyond recognition. =( damn... heh... anyone? anyone at all? |
Someone asked this earlier on, but no one could answer them. Sorry! http://boards.ironkite.com/frown.gif ------------------ "Better the Devil you know." Unreal Tournament Center Webmaster Go to http://www.utcenter.com for all your UT needs! |
hehe... damn... could someone find out please (calling mr. web p1mp! =)? UT has come a LONG ways from Unreal and runs REALLY well on my Ultra (it's also addicting as hell), but if i can't cap my frames (which are all over the place (highest 100 or so, lowest 30s-ish, 60s-ish average) and my ping seems to not like it... it'd FIGURE that Sweeny Da Weenie would leave out a command for this... =\ (okay, maybe he didn't, but for all his other blunders, I wouldn't say it's not possible)... Could someone find out? *Pretty please?* heh... I've emailed him a couple times (real nice-like, too!), and never received a reply (yeah, I know... they're busy as hell... just sayin)... Thanks... Ok, this is a longshot but it might work http://boards.ironkite.com/smile.gif check out your unrealtournament.ini file in the sys folder - and check for your MinDesiredFrameRate= x line. try adding in after this line MaxDesiredFrameRate = y, and see if that works... VeRt. |
