Nvidia driver probs...NEED HELP!!!!!
 

I have windows Me (ino need XP but that's not the point now), i've got an 2000xp, 512 ddr at 333mhz, gef3 ti500...and when i play with my normal drivers it sucks and if i install new drivers i dont see anything when i play ut2003, just a black screen (i also dont see my framerate and have an score of 3500 in 3d mark then, wich is quiet unusual for my specs if u ask me...) and when i install the latest detonator drivers (v41.09 ) for windows Me my pc boots up like a goddamn pentium 133...(after seeing the Win Me screen i have that white stripe in the left upper corner, wich is normal, but i see this screen for about 5 mins then...wich isnt normal)

i also have directX 8.1, i'm desperate, if anyone nows what hell in gods name causes these probs post it please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had the same problem with that update. Try rolling back to the previous, I think it`s 3.0.8.2

I don't think you are stupid or anything and I am real bad with computers but how many background programs u got running?

Please uninstall Win Me and install 2000, XP or friggin 95 for that matter, because Me is the devil. :agreed:

Your problem is Windows Me... and yes, you do need to update your OS, or rollback to 98... I advise going to at least XP Home...


Windows Me is probably the worst OS Since Windows 3.0...
