| Talutah | July 20th, 2003 12:31 PM | You should have all the default characters' models in your characters folder inside the upaint folder. Just load up Upaint and select one of them. You should also have a textures folder in there, it contains all the textures. Pop one of them in to photoshop or whatever you use, modify it, save it as a jpg or whatever they are in that folder, with it's own name, and then click on the texture window in Upaint. Go to file and import texture, select yours, it should appear on the model. Be careful to save your character with it's own unique name before you import it in to UT2003 though, because it will replace the default model you are working off of if you don't. (I made that mistake ..twice. doh!) Anyway, hopefully that will help. I'm not an expert, but that has worked for me a couple times. Now I'm trying to find out how to add team colors. Oiy, UT is confuzing. Quake3 based games are so much easier. :P |
