Are team skins important?

Are team colours on skins important? Simple question. Since I started skinning in December I've done team colours on all my skins bar my first (that's 14 skins ago!). Personally I think they are - Surely any player of CTF, Onslaught, etc., would agree(?) I wouldn't download a skin without team colours but maybe that's just me. Any replies (constructive or otherwise) would be appreciated :uhm: :cya:

Only Deathmatch, Last Man Standing, Mutant and Invasion use the standard skins, whereas UT2004's most popular gametypes all use team colours. I too wouldn't download a skin that came without teamcolours... it's the standard colour that's next-to-useless, especially if you're a team player.

Thanks for the input Vertigo - Much appreciated. Got a lot more feedback on the BU forums and I've given all you guys a mention in the Readme with my latest skins :)

General consensus #1 - ppl want team colours on skins esp. for ut2k4 Full Stop
General consensus #2 - skins in general aren't worth the d/l unless they have them
