When I play games like warcraft3 or Call of Duty, high reso games usually,My computer would shutdown on it's own.It sounds like an overheating issue, but when i play with my case down,it still happens.I tried getting a fan beside it but it still doesnt work. When it shutsdown,i can't power it up unless i turn off and on my power plug. These are my comp specs.

Ok, with that program you used, under 'computer', it'll say 'Sensor'. "Left click" on it. Monitor the temperatures, during a game minimize it and check it out.
It probably is something with the temperature of your CPU or GPU on your graphics card.
Also, make sure the fan on the CPU and the fan on the GPU of the graphics card is working.
Both the fans are definitely working,i can tell when i open the case.Hmmmm, could it be a lack of power? I'm using a 300W power supply and i'm pretty sure my Radeon draws quite alot of power.Thx for your help .I'll check it out.
EDIT:To the sensor thing,i can't seem to check the temperature.
300 Watts should be fine unless you have like 6 15,000 rpm SCSI drives in your computer. The minimum power requirement for a P4 is 230 watts. The latest CPU's only need 80-90 watts and the latest graphics card 70-80 watts. It would be wise though to upgrade to a bigger one next time. But can you see what the temperature of the CPU is at 100% load?
Yeah... i concur with prior comments about Temperature. The drive disc for your m\b should have a prog that lets u c what the temp is of your com. Failing that there r utilities avail from SIS website or com mags enabling you to monitor temps. Last option is to start your com and goto bios settings and watch the temp setts and fan speeds. Rule of thumb is if your com gets to 70deg Cel, then it is running too hot. You will need to get a new cpu heatsink fan for around AUS$10-20.00.

Uh, I thought you could only monitor temperature using those programs is you have a chipset/mobo with a thermometer built in?
Most motherboards do have a built-in thermometer. If he would just follow what I said earlier in the thread, he could post his temperatures at idle and at 100% load.
Except he might NEVER come back....Meh, my MOBO doesn't have thermometer support as far as I know..then again it's Compaq and chop full of proprietary hardware (and no overclocking )....
Thanks alot for yuor help guys. You guys are a godsend.ERm Uber General, the sensor thing only shows me the RPM of my fan, which is at around 3814 to 3900.
