Black Screen On Launch
 

:confused: I NEED HELP!!!
I recently managed to get hold of Star Trek:Bridge Commander after many months of scouring my local gaming stores. However, when I got it home and installed it, the game just locked up on a black screen whenever I went to play it! The trobleshooting guide indicated an out of date driver for my graphics card or audio card.
My graphics card is a VOODOO 3 and 3dfx no longer support this card. My audio card is a SOUNDBLASTER. Yes, I know these are ancient cards by many standards, but the game (apparently) runs on these cards if the drivers are up-to-date.
Does anyone out there know where I can get an up-to-date driver for these cards that will actually allow me to run BRIDGE COMMANDER because all the links I have tried so far have been a waste of time and the drivers I downloaded did not make any difference!!!
