I downloaded a couple months ago and found out it had spyware so I immediatly uninstalled it. But I'm not sure if that completely took it off my system. Is there any way I could get it off my computer. Also my computer reset a couple weeks ago, would that delete spyware or not? Thanks for your help. Peace

Uninstalling would not remove the spyware. Not sure what you mean by "my computer reset."
You could get PC Mag April 22, 2003, where they compare spyware and spyware removal tools. Just briefly, according to the article, was installing the following spyware: Brillian Digital, Cydoor, DoubleClick, DownloadWare, New.net, PromulGate, SaveNow.
In their review of removal tools, PC Mag gave Editor's Choice to PepiMK Software's SpyBot Search & Destroy, a free download from www.pcmag.com. Good luck.
Now....anyone know what kind of spyware or security holes come with Red Swoosh?
yup, download Ad-Aware 6.0 - it will take most of all spyware off of your computer. The nice thing about this app is that you can always update the spyware dictionary (kinda like a virus dictionary).
Madmanfrommars posted the link above.
Just about any (free) program you download off the internet such as , winamp, or something similiar will have some sort of spyware... it's like spam you can never hide from it.
I uninstalled , removed all spyware with help of Ad-Aware
and the i installed lite. Once that was done i made a new
search for spyware but it was empty.
Since you share files on , if you select not to share files does that stop people from seeing wut u do on the internet or not?
