i've heard from the first person shooter 'Pray' but nowadays no more words were spoken about it http://www.veforums.com/frown.gif

I think Apogee/3dRealms has put it on hold until Duke Forever is done. Prey probably holds the current record for length of development time(they first announced it in 1994).

Prey is all but dead.
The entire prey team was shifted to DNF or fired. After this they hired Corrinne Yu to work on a brand new engine for Prey (this would make the second brand new engine for Prey). Before long 3DRealms and Corrinne Yu parted ways.
Now Prey has been "put on the back burner" until DNF is completed. At that time they will decide whether or not to start over on it or not.
I'm guessing Prey is going to be forgotten.
