I figured it out!

You have to go to your internet options-connections tab-never dial a connection has to be checked off. Normally it is dial my default connection. I'm not sure what other programs this may effect but I can still go online so no matter to me.

Blade, it would have been better to post this in the original thread. A week from now the threads will be in a different order and no one will know WTF you're talking about.

People also do searches and this post will be of no help to them.

No problem, and no rules broken.

I just like to remind people that others use this site only for seaching for solutions to problems. They might find a post via a search engine and never even actually visit the forum.
