Voodoo 3 3000 in 3DMark 2000

I have a HIS Apollo MVP3 Motherboard with AMD K6-2/550MHz, 256Megs of SDRAM and V3 3000 PCI overclocked to 183 MHz. I have installed a fan on the V3. With this configuration I manage to get 1345 points from 3DMark 2000 1.1. While testing I have Windows ME with CPUIdle 5.8 and V3Tweaks running. 3DMark runs with 1024x768, 16bit colours and 3DNow! optimization. I hope this was accurate enough http://www.veforums.com/smile.gif Is the result of the 3DMark 2000 even close to what it (possibly) should be? I'd really like to know!
Thanks.

Ahh...And I almost forgot... I am using DX8 and the newest V3 drivers, 1.07.000 or something like that. http://www.veforums.com/smile.gif

with that resolution and that processor sounds about spot on to what I would have guessed you would be getting....get a P3-550 and you could easily hit well over 3000.

I have a p3-550 and a voodoo3-2000 (no O/C)w/ 8MBram (on-board video) and I get about 3000.

Just take note, that specially with the K6-2 and K6-3 I've seen that if you have more than 128 mb Ram you're system starts to slow down - maybe not always but I've seen it - specially with 256 mb Ram........

Still my view is based on observations not facts from the tech poeple - so don't take it too serious.

What? System slowdown with >128MB? That sounds weird to say the least! But check this out: When I o/c the V3 over 183MHz the system remains stable but the performance begins to drop in 3DMark... I might have to take a moment here... http://www.veforums.com/smile.gif Anyway, the games fly except Outcast, with 5 fps even with the minimal detail and poorest resolution. I don't get it. It's totally unplayable, like Quake on C64 or something...
