icon_question Looking for a new laptop...

As much as I hate being that guy being spoonfed information, I've been very out of the loop this year as far as computers go. I've never owned a laptop and I'm looking into finally buying one this year.

I'm a college student and I want a laptop that can play games well (Red Orchestra 2, maxed out preferably).

I have about $600 to spend, and I'm hoping to pick-up a good deal on Cyber Monday.

As far as actual specs go, this is what I know I want:
  1. At least 4gb of DDR3 RAM
  2. 2.3 Ghz+ processor
  3. Dedicated GPU
  4. Reliable brand (this is where I'm very lost)
  5. Has good little features, such as a backlit keyboard, USB ports, little things that you techies like.

Any help would be super appreciated!

Edit: Been looking at Lenovo and HP laptops, generally speaking, how are those? Also, I have been doing research using Google and such. I'm learning, but I want some opinions from people that I'm sure are a tad more experienced than the general consumer, or least not total scrubs, anyways.

From what I understand, it's more worth it to wait until near Christmas to buy a laptop. I mean, if you really need one right now, and you can find one with those specs at that price range, go for it, but you would be better off wait until around Christmas.

I was recommended an ASUS K73SV when I asked a similar question. I would recommend it. It doesn't have a backlit keyboard or any little things like that, but I didn't really look at any that did except for the $1200 custom built ones.

But yeah, wait till christmas or at least black friday.
