Probably not.

That's not to say it wouldn't run at very high settings ok.

I don't think it is certain when that game will be released for PC. Obviously you'll get a better deal on your components the longer you wait.

The last GTA was not ported very well. Generally if you are dealing with a console ports the most important thing is the CPU. Then GPU. A SSD will only help you with level loading times (which improves enjoyment of some games quite a bit), not so much FPS. More than 4gb RAM will most likely not have any effect, but RAM is cheap, so 8gb sounds good.

GTA V is partically a next gen console game thereas no way that the current gen consoles pulled off those gfx on the traillers it must of been renedered by a pc with a gtx 680 and a core i7
max payne 3 ran perfectly on my lap top but gta 5 is going to be more open world so it would be more demanding in my estemation

I don't think anyone can say at this point. Not with any certainty. So much of it's going to depends how they do LOD and so on. I seem to remember Crysis spent a ridiculous amount of processing power rendering rocks that were thousands of polygons each, and the second game IIRC always made and calculated out the sea plane, regardless of whether there was any water in view or not. Even something like Prototype 2 can run awfully if they port it poorly.

My money would be on it requiring a beast of a computer, because the last one did (even though it shouldn't have.) But beyond that, and as to when it will come out for the PC and what'll be available at the time. -shrug-

To be fair, GTA IV is so poorly optimized it doesn't matter what you have.

That being said, I really don't think it's going to be very fun to play at max settings with that laptop. And lol alienware.

Rockstar pre-render their trailers, it's not actual in-game footage. GTA V will be a current-gen game.
