I know someone is going to kick me for it, but here goes. Sorry for the revive...lol. Stuff I've bought so far:
2GB of DDR2...15 bucks off of a friend. Will replace with 4GB come christmas bonus time.
older Core 2 Duo...46 bucks.
AMD 7750...Free (Late B-day present)
550W PSU...Free (Late b-day present)
It's already better with the cannibalized sound card, graphics card, and monitor from the other desktop...but it's going to be substantially better with this stuff coming in. 
And you can't really fuss that much...it's a pretty good rig for what I want to do for a few bucks. :P
Next up...4GB PC2-6400...320GB SSD...1+ TB drive....Adobe Production Premium...Windows 7. |
