Oh, its just technical specs that they want reviewers to cover for marketing reasons. Mostly just a copy/paste affair for a page or two of the stuff.

After that its all my take on things.

Actually I was referring to initial response on the 8D version, but primarily just the BIOS regarding 3000 series Intel CPUs.
Newegg.com - MSI X79A-GD65 (8D) LGA 2011 Intel X79 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

That said, it's never a good idea to buy anything from a first batch run of a new MB, esp on a new platform and chipset. ASUS and others have had similar problems on first runs. You'd think they'd at least test well for CPU compatibility though.

Care to elaborate?
if a board is good I will recommend it to people. There have been quite a few products that have been lackluster at best and got the review to match.
If I think people should buy a good board I will let people know its a good board

No, the review is fine, you just used this forum as a vehicle to plug your website. That put me off. The "click here to read more". Not cool IMO, not sure why it's being let slide tbh.

I don't see what's wrong with it, it's not like he's the only person to ever post a link to another website on the internet Is it even specifically HIS website, or just one he happens to post reviews for?

You don't expect him to repost the whole review here, surely?

Sorry but going to close this.
Kow you didn't adjust the other review to what we considered.

That sounds reasonable. Lets go with that and see how it is presented.

We don't mind you posting the links to your site so long as the content posted here is of a certain standard and not a blatant advert
This is a blatant advert in that there is a pic and short description of MSI then if people want to know the deal with the board they have to leave the thread. There is no info at all about the board, no specs nothing at all. Sorry but closed and your next one will be simply trashed if it is just a advert like this.

I Really need a Sig
