computer help

For some reason yesterday, I came home after leaving my computer on, only realize that it crashed. I restarted my computer and found that for some reason my video card driver was uninstalled. PCI Modem driver was also uninstalled, but I believe that may have been uninstalled beforehand. So I downloaded my video driver again from my computer manufacturer's website. but for some reason one of the files in the installer was corrupted. But I went ahead and installed it anyway, probably not a good decision, but I didn't want to wait another 5 minutes downloading the chipset all over again. I couldn't get my PCI Modem drivers to install for some reason or another. However, the chipset (video card) driver installed and didn't give any error messages (even though WinRAR couldn't extract one of the files from the .rar for some reason). Well yesterday, and again today, my computer can't launch one of my favorite games, Company of Heroes Online. I'm not sure about any other games, I haven't tried them yet. This really pisses me off. How can I fix this? Here is a screenshot of the error message I get when trying to launch Company of Heroes Online, which has always worked for me in the past:

Re: computer help

Download the drivers again. You may also need to reinstall Direct X.

Re: computer help

You might also want to get something like drivercleaner to remove the faulty drivers.
