Is there a Max Payne Demo?

I really want to buy this game, but I want to see how it runs on my computer first. Is there a demo? If so, where can I download it?

Or you could purchase the game from a store that has a good return policy (like Electronics Boutique). If it doesn't run well you could just return it.

The 3dmarks2001 test that shows Max Payne in the scene from the matrix was made on the MaxFx engine so it should give you some indication of what the game will play like if that is what you are wanting to know....

What kinda system do you have?
Max runs fine at 1024x768x16 on my Voodoo5 5500. I have a 1.1 GHz Thunderbird and 256 PC133 cl3 ram.

download a warez version and try it out.
thats what I did, but I aint no arsehole either, so after I LOVED the game so much, I went out and bought a copy....just like any decent person would.

try the warez version, but dont be a che4p wh0re and not buy Max Payne...give them devs the royalties they toiled so hard for.
