I cancelled my 5850, I've been waiting nearly 5 months. With the 5830 delayed again, I bought a XFX 5770 XT, it's lightly overclocked. And with a free copy of Battleforge
I hope I can post a few benchmarks of it when I've got it installed.
A-well-a everybody's heard about the bird
B-b-b-bird, bird, bird, b-bird's the word
A-well-a bird, bird, bird, the bird is the word
A-well-a bird, bird, bird, well the bird is the word
Is the 5850 stock really that bad over in the Netherlands? Newegg got them back in a good while ago and prices have slowly been dropping on them. I would try and sell off that 5770 and go for a 5850 whenever you get the chance, unless you find it good enough for whatever games you play. The 5770 is about the same as a stock 4870 so its still got some power, my 4870 is still powering along pretty nicely through most games. See if you can get a decent OC out of it.
