Because of the way heat rises, I'm not sure if it would be worth it to have the top fan blowing in.

Either way, if not having the graphics card exhaust its heat outside the case is a big issue, you need a better case.

Two bringing in air from the front, one bringing in air from the top, one bringing in air from the side and one pulling the air through the back. My video card (4890) has rear exhaust outside of the case. Nice clean airflow.
That would actually make airflow worse. I have the Antec 300 as well and i have 2x 120mm front intakes, 1x 120mm rear exhaust, and 1x 140mm top exhaust. Also, using the side panel fan can actually makes your temps worse because it can disrupt the airflow.

You want something like this:

As long as you have good airflow its not. I have a Thermalright HR-03GT on my 4870 which dumps all the heat inside the case and its no problem.

You want something like this:
Spoiler:
The case came with the rear and top fan already installed and the top fan was installed bringing air into the case. I believe it was designed to bring cool air in for the CPU as it's right on top of it.

Here is a picture of the inside of my case so you can get an idea of how well that would actually work (considering how close they are):

Spoiler:

I've yet to have any heating issues (knock on wood ) so I'll keep it as it is, but I see your point about the airflow and hot air does rise. I was researching this after my first post as well, but again I believe the the job of the top fan is to bring in cool air for the CPU.

... LOL

The fan is blowing out on the top.
And its to blow hot air away from the CPU, cool air wouldn't be on top of the case since it would simply be hot air from the back of the case recirculating to the top.

Laugh all you want, cupcake, I'm telling you how it is and how the fan was installed by the manufacture. Same with the fan on the CPU heat sink which is blowing cold air onto the heat sink to cool it (considering it's job is to take the heat away from the CPU) , thus also using the cool air from the top fan which is blowing in. The CPU fan on top of the heat sink is also set by the manufacture (following Intel's instructions for setup) so I guess both Intel and Antec are wrong? This is of course what you're saying, correct?

Ugh... the point you seem to be missing here, "Giz", is that there is no cool air at the top of your case. Funny as you might think, we're all well aware the a heatsink's job is to remove heat from components, and, yes, we are also aware that the fan is pretty damn close to your heatsink, but having it blow hot air into your case would be a pretty stupid idea.

I'd be sort of like saying you're going to drive to your grandmother's in reverse because you car can get up to, I dunno, fifty, in reverse - let's say for arguement's sake that most cars can only do thirty. That's all well and good, and more power to you, but the fact of the matter is that any car out there can still do eighty easy in the right direction.

I just double checked and the fan on the top of my case is indeed pushing air out of the case. It's set to speed 1 (out of 3) so I didn't really notice until I opened up the case and looked. Chalk it up to retardedness on my end but the other way does make sense in my mind, even if it isn't practical.

I got the top fan blowing out and the bottom fan sucking in now, seems to be quite good. Nao, let's get back to the testing!
