Yeah it was stable, I ran 3dmark01, 3dmark05, and some Nazi Zombies, and it never got above 58oC. Of course the fan was at 60% which isn't that terribly loud.

Just curious, what were your 3DMark scores?

Edit: I found the link to my GPU-Z validation from when i had my 9800GTX:

That was on the stock cooler with the fan set at 70% IIRC.

They weren't really special compared to Kow's scores

(stock settings) 3dmark01 was 44000 (Oc'ed) 3dmark01 45500. I'd get a good bit higher if my CPU were overclocked, but I don't trust it on stock cooling.

That's a pretty good OC you've got KingDino. My 4870 is picky about what speeds it likes. For example, 810 fails right away, 815 fails within minutes, but 820 is good for 2+ hours of gaming....

Yeah, a CPU OC would definitely help. I'm beating that score with my 4870 @ 820/1030 by about 150 points.

Damnit. gpuz doesn't want to play nice with me so I cant validate 998/1152 =(

Holy crap, the HR-03/ Yate Loon - L combo made me spoiled. This stock cooler is so loud even on 40%. Im glad I got an accelero for the 4870x2 or I'd rage.
