There should be a setting somewhere in your BIOS for it. I don't know where it would be for your boards BIOS, but look for settings for SpeedStep / EIST and C1E and make sure they are enabled.

The only one i found was the EIST and that was enabled but my cpu still isnt clocking down.

After a quick google search it looks like your board should have the settings under: "Advanced BIOS Features > CPU Features". Look for options for "Thermal Management" and "C1E Function" and make sure both are enabled.

Nope no settings like that, the only ones are ''Execute Bit Support'' and ''Set Limit CPUID Maxval to 3''

Sorry have been busy, well my mobo didnt realy come with a manual just a sorta quick guide, but stupid of me iv just rememberd my mobo has a ''Clear Cmos'' button on the back of the mobo, so im guessin its worth a try?

Iv had no luck at all, so im just gona get a better cpu cooler and leave it, but will it damage it aslong as its cool?

What aftermarket coolers are available for the gts250?? oh and is the GTS250 Gddr3 1GB better that the 8800GTX 768mb?

No, your temps are actually just fine where they are at as long as your load temp isn't going much over 70C.

Don't know about the coolers, bu yes, your GTS 250 is better than a 8800GTX.
