Please try and use full stops (Periods, I think you call them). Makes things a lot easier to understand.

You can, yeah. Right click on Computer, then go to Manage. In there, go to Disk Management, then select your harddrive and Shrink Partition. The amount you Shrink by determines how much space will be on the Vista drive.

Side note: I don't know about anyone else, but when I'm in my Win7 partition, my Vista one isn't shown in My Computer, so you may not have access to the apps/games you've installed under Win7.

To create the Vista partition, just click on the now empty bit of space, and create one. Then run the installer as you'd install an OS normally, and when asked where to install it, select the partition you've created.

The bit that now comes up black - unallocated space - just right click there and Create Partition.

Yup, that's it.

If you type "msconfig" as a Run command, you can go to boot.ini, and fiddle with your OSs there. You should get a screen at start-up. You just select whatever one you want, or the system defualts to whatever one you've selected (in boot.ini) after thirty seconds.

Im using an akasa cool blue cooler and im running a e6700 @ about 3.00ghz now and it idles at about 42C* but i know some people who have the same cooler on Quad cores OC'ed to 3.4C* and they got idle temps in the low 30's.

Is your CPU clocking down while idle? Your case have good airflow? Those people may also have 45nm quads which run cooler to begin with. There are a few other things such as which thermal paste is used, and how much mounting presssure you've got, which is why the socket 775 bolt through kits are so popular.

You don't need to worry about idle temps as much though, as long as your load temps are decent (70C is a good limit IMO) you don't need to be concerned.
