| That high-pitched noise is caused by the coils on the card. The only way to make it quiet is putting nail-polish on the coils to make them stop vibrating. And there are very few aftermarket coolers for the g80 cards since they have a different hole layout.

| I'd have a (good) Intel chipset over an nVidia chipset any day, however I'm not a big fan of ASUS and given the choice (now that abit is dead and buried) I would go for DFI or Gigabyte.

| Asus <3 I would suggest a P5Q-Pro or something around that range.

| I would definitely go for the Foxconn X48 board. I've looked at the board myself before, the BlackOps board is said to be a great overclocker, and it one of the cheapest X48 boards i've seen.

| No, its a DDR3 board. And a 4-pin would be fine. It just wont get as much power with high-end overclocking. How do they not have a P5Q-pro or any other board with a P45 chipset. That asus is fine, but I'd prefer some more beefy cooling on mine.
